    Introduction to Cyber Security

Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting systems, networks, and programs from digital attacks. These attacks are usually aimed at accessing, changing, or destroying sensitive information; extorting money from users; or interrupting normal business processes. In today's interconnected world, cybersecurity is critical. We rely on the internet for almost everything, from communication and shopping to banking and healthcare. This reliance makes us vulnerable to cybercrime, which can have devastating consequences for individuals, businesses, and governments. There are many different types of cyberattacks, but some of the most common include: Phishing: Attackers send fraudulent emails or messages that appear to come from a legitimate source in order to steal passwords, credit card numbers, or other sensitive information.
